CC0 and Public Domain Images of Vermont with No Known Copyrights

Vermont is the second least populated state in the country. However, it is a very desirable place to visit and live.

Do you have a project that requires you to use images of Vermont? We have compiled a list of over 30 images that you can use. Unlike many of the other images on this site, these images are marked as being in the public domain. They have either been released under a CC0 copyright license or are old enough that they have fully entered the public domain.

How are you allowed to use these images? Since they are marked as being under the public domain, you should be able to use them in any way that you like.

A lot of other images on this site can only be used for noncommercial purposes, but you can use them in any commercial publication. You can even resell the images on another site if you like (although there probably wouldn’t be much point to doing so and you can’t misrepresent yourself as the original creator).
