The Picture of Dorian Gray is a popular book by Oscar Wild. A short version of the novel was published in Lippincott’s Monthly Magazine in July 1890. If you want to get a free public domain version of the original book, you can download it on Project Gutenberg.
I also have found a number of Creative Commons videos of The Picture of Dorian Gray on YouTube. You can find them below.
This is a great video by the Draw My Life YouTube channel. It is a pictorial video, in the sense that the video creator draws pictures of the events while telling the story. This is a creative way to get the point of the story across.
Are you looking for a video of a full audiobook of this great novel? The BestEver AudioBooks YouTube channel has one that they have released into the public domain. It is over six hours long, so you can enjoy it for quite some time. I am surprised it only has nine views, because it seems like a great video.
This next video was created by someone that clearly loves the novel, because they dedicated an entire YouTube channel to it! The DorrianGay channel has a series of videos dedicated to them reading audiobooks of them reading the Picture of Dorian Gray. This video is for the first chapter, but you can get the rest on the YouTube channel.
Listening to videos playing audiobooks can be great. However, you may want to listen to a video sharing an analysis of the book. This video by First Rate Tutors does just that.
The following video is just shy of ten hours long and is another great audiobook of this classic novel.
We hope you enjoy these videos! Feel free to use them (as long as you abide by the terms of the CC license). And don’t forget to download your free digital copy of The Picture of Dorian Gray at Project Gutenberg!
